Commemorate a renowned American novelist with the new Saul Bellow stamp from the U.S. Postal Service.
The 34th stamp in the Literary Arts series features a porttrait of Bellow in front of a Chicago street scene. Behindhim are the city's
skyscrapers, with the "L" train running between the buildings.Illustrator Joe Ciardiello created the art with pen, ink, and wattercolor
on watercolor paper.
The Saul Bellow stamps are being issued as Three-Ounce stamps. Like a Forever@ stamp, this stamp will always be valid for the
rate printed on it.
